Al Jazeera makes emergency landing after bomb threat

The plane belonging to Jazeera Airlines, which took off from Kuwait this morning, made an emergency landing at Trabzon Airport upon a bomb threat while it was in the skies of Trabzon, APA reports citing Livik.

While the Special Operations Police launched an investigation, the airport was temporarily closed to flights. While the passengers who are evacuated from the plane by making a body search one by one are taken into the airport, the luggage of the passengers is checked by passing them through mobile x-ray. A bomb disposal team was directed to the airport.
