Kuwait seals 12-month naphtha deal at higher premiums

Kuwait Petroleum Corp inked the full-range naphtha deal at a $13.50 a tonne

SINGAPORE - Kuwait Petroleum Corp (KPC) has sealed a 12-month naphtha deal starting December 2018 with Asian buyers at a higher price versus a previous agreement which expires next month, traders said on Friday.

KPC inked the full-range naphtha deal at a $13.50 a tonne premium to Middle East quotes on a free-on-board (FOB) basis and light grade at $15 a tonne above Middle East quotes on a FOB basis.

These premiums were 36 percent to 42 percent higher than the previous contract starting December 2017 and expiring in November 2018.
